School Counseling

Our mission as school counselors is to support students in reaching their academic, career, and social-emotional goals. We strive to create a safe, supportive environment where all students can thrive. This is achieved through collaboration with parents, staff, and community partners to promote student success and well-being.

School Counseling at A.W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts

Mission
The mission of the Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts School Counseling Program is to equip all students with the knowledge, skills, and support necessary to thrive academically, artistically, socially, and emotionally. Through a comprehensive, data-informed, and proactive counseling program, we promote academic achievement, social-emotional well-being, and college and career readiness for all students.

Vision
The vision of the School Counseling Program is to provide equitable, student-centered support that nurtures academic, artistic, personal, and social growth. In partnership with families, educators, and the community, we prepare students to become creative, compassionate, and resilient global citizens who make meaningful contributions to an ever-changing world.
